Description
The Newland EX232 Remora is a compact serial server that adds an Ethernet interface to barcode scanners with an RS232 connection. This enables existing systems to be seamlessly integrated into modern networks, eliminating the need for new hardware purchases. The EX232 Remora also supports bidirectional communication, enabling real-time exchange of data between the scanner and host system.
Its robust, rail-mountable housing is specially designed for use in industrial environments and allows for easy installation in control cabinets or production lines. Thanks to its integrated power supply, signal isolation and optional PoE (Power over Ethernet), the EX232 Remora offers maximum flexibility and operational reliability.
